You know that patience you pray for well you're going to be given opportunities to attain it. Persevere for the sake of Allah. And realize life will get better but it will come with its challenges so don't worry too much and stop being a perfectionist. Continue to be yourself and you'll find souls who love you for who you are. Take pics of yourself and random life moments. Cherish your mom.

I'm too far gone, I'm afraid. Haven't seen my own toes while standing upright, well....since 2010.
Thas is nonsense, walaal. Start slowly by counting your calories. Make sure you eat at a caloric deficit, and gradually you'll see results.

Go and put in the numbers. Pick 'basal metabolic rate,' and make sure you eat under those calories from now on.

A lot of people would have said to hit the gym, but I will tell you to take extra walks. You don't have to push yourself, but a few walks here and there will be good for you.

Drop processed unhealthy food and sweets. Increase your vegies, add fruits to your diet to replace sugar content if you're addicted to that, but factor that in with the calories you consume.

Drop comfort habits where you feel like you need to combine things to enjoy the day or the moment. Those are psychological issues that tell you lies, and it is a central part of addiction.

Also, push your breakfast later than normal. Eat 3 times a day. Where you space out evenly. But don't eat much before you sleep. Your body will be in no movement at all. Also, don't put food in your mouth all day, no matter how little. That stuff is a problem.

The thing is, you can do this and start slow and let it pay out, or you can do it later when you're forced, because now diseases are piling up (and trust me, when that happens you will do drastic measures and wish you started earlier; what I'm writing to you is not drastic). What you're talking about is never inevitable. Half of the problem is having some faith. When you gradually step into this, you will see that your psyche changes, and you'll feel better about yourself. Sticking to it becomes its own reward, and you will feel more content. I think you deserve to treat yourself better.
