She is clearly saying words that correspond, as there are many overlapping divergence points between Rendille and Af Maxaa.
However, I think if a Rendille started to speak in complex form, I believe beyond just understanding tidbits for context, here and there, the overall would be unintelligible. Either way, Rendille is a conservative Somaloid language, so it is a Somali language, despite me not considering Rendilles ethnically Somali because of their divergence, as opposed to the Garre, who are not Boran assimilated. I separate clan and ethnicity here since, as I have demonstrated before, Somaloids in Kenya can have the same clan in different ethnic groups.

Ive seen people float around between 2k & 1.5k years ago. Seeing that they practice camel domesticated I’d say that’s a pretty accurate estimate. All rendile clan ancestors are buried in northern Kenya so they must’ve been in the region for a very long time. At least since the last millennium
