Cagjar’s stance makes no sense. I know he is a pacifist but surely he wouldn’t risk his seat? His support base, including his own Ree Cali want action against Mx but he doesn’t want to do so. The opposition in Addis can really use this against him as technically “Ethiopian” troops were killed in this attack which the Feds won’t be happy with. Cagjar seems to be gambling with his seat for no obvious gain

That is a personal preference of his which is highly unpopular among Ogaden. The issue here though is that Liyu police were killed, not just Ogaden civilians. He can’t ignore it.

No clan in DDS is allowed to be armed, even the Mx that live there. That’s why these thugs come from across the border. If Ogaden were allowed to be armed there would be no issues today. Cagjar won’t allow us hub but he won’t use Liyu as well. Catch 22 for us
