Firstly your source isnt credible, and secondly relying on one source is highly problematic when it comes to Somali history. You talk a big game about being "educated" but you'd fail if you based any university level paper on one flimsy source like you just did.

Plus, the reference I just quoted from was an Ethiopian historian himself. You said they were always Oromos when I disproved you on that since Oromos were recent in Hararghe highlands and came during the 16th century while Jaarso established the Dawaro Sultanate in the 10th century. Now you're agreeing with me on that but decided to still argue with me if they weren't Dir. Listen, there have been Somali clans that have been assimilated by Oromos and you cannot deny those facts and Jaarso were no different from these occurrences.

Jaarso were not only Somalis but Dir and historically Hararghe was dominated by Somalis and this is some basic Somali history. If you learn the weakening of Adal Sultanate and the Oromo migration against Adal Sultanate then you can learn how much Dir suffered from this. The professor of Amoud University, Suleiman Gulaid is from Tuli Guleed. There are Gadabursi who live there. But the majority are Geri. We are more West in Dembel.
