It is very nice he can do that while living in 3rd world country, but that is not unique, many students from 3rd countries speak perfect US accent, very few I met speak good RP british accent.

He speaks better than most immigrants in the UK. And yeah, he's mimicking the BBC presenter voice too much, like he's narrating a story. He's also mixing casual and formal speech, which makes it sound forced.

It's the soft spoken voice that makes him sound like a woman. His accent alone is enough to convince non English speakers. He could definitely land a few translator jobs in Kenya or customer service roles etc.

It's like a magic talent , that feels almost akin to a super power. When you think about it, what sets us apart from all other animals is the ability to vocalize specific speech and to be able to master that is like being able to express your distinct human identity.
