Also, while we might be the most madow of the major AA speaking groups (Oromo however are all over the place), we definitely aren't among all Cushites. The Konso people for example are explicitly negroid looking, you won't find any Somali who looks like Mengistu Haile Mariam lol.

Check out any G25/Vahaduo figure. Somalis are 40-45% West Eurasian with Kenyan Somalis having slightly elevated levels of SSA but they are still at least 40%.

For me, I don’t put too much emphasis on the word as long as it conveys the message. Afro-Asiatic is a valid term but it’s not popular & can be a mouthful for normies who aren’t familiar with anthropology & genetics.

Whereas, the Arab label is widely known & is more or less aligned with Natufian-derived peoples from a genetic standpoint which normies recognise subconsciously. Hence why I just use it as a euphemism from a racial lens.

At least use a typical Somali to make your claim.
She looks more Pacific Islander. As for Ethiopians, you are incorrect. Ethiopia is a country with 80 ethnicities. The Konso, in particular, are more SSA along with the Wolayta and plenty of other groups. Also, the Ethiosemetic speakers don't have significantly more admixture to make them look radically different.

5-10% isn't going to shift you greatly. Considering Somalis also vary in appearance, people with the same level of admixture could look completely different.
