BORAMA, AWDAL

Allah haa uu naharisto the student the innocent. I am just following this news at the moment. Apparently i had so much to do today i did not get this news until THIS VERY MOMENT. It seems like it went like wildfire. I see it everywhere on social media with majority of people easily saying this has something to do with blue flag and somalia / puntland connection. Whatever the truth is. An innocent life has been lost by the action of out of order policeman who MUST face consequence and justice WITH THE MAXIMUM SEVERITY. I THINK HE SHOULD BE PARADED AROUND IN HANDCUFFS.

Having said that, there is also a weird trend happening, REER AWDAL COMING OUT OF THE CLOSET WITH THE STRONG HATE OF SOMALIA OR ANYTHING RELATED WITH THAT OR AN EPIC SOMALILAND PROPAGANDA TO PORTRAY REER AWDAL AS ANTI SOMALIA PEOPLE. Whatever the truth is, for us reer awdal we just had an out of ordinary YEAR in somaliworld. PEOPLE ARE TALKING ABOUT US LEFT AND RIGHT, FLAG BURNING AND NOW STUDENT KILLING. WHAT IS GOING ON IN AWDAL? I don't know man MAYBE WE GETTING MORE COVERAGE NOW THAN USUAL. LIKE ALL EYES ARE ON AWDAL THESE DAYS.

Somalia and Somaliland must fight their fight outside of AWDAL PLEASE THANK YOU VERY MUCH. AWDAL MUST STAY SWITZERLAND IN THIS WORLD WAR TYPE SHIT GOING BETWEEN NORTH AND SOUTH.

What a load of ahistorical bullshit.

Wow, the level of lying people are capable of.

During the kacaan, routine torture simply to "investigate" if people were guilty of "subversive" acts was carried out as a par for the course. People had their testicles electrocuted, were sleep deprived for days on end, had boiling water thrown on them as they slept, and a ton worse. These were just those that were "suspected".
From it's very 1970 foundation, the NSS' main responsibility was to do just that. People only started to publicly speak about it decades later, for fear of reprisals against their families.

Somaliland has a long way to go before it lives up to your kacaan "ideals'. Simply arresting people for actually breaking the law just wont do.

Geez Louise I don’t think I can argue with someone so brainwashed. And this is coming from someone who had their 15 year old aunt arrested by the NSS and my apti killed by the regime.

Yes Somaliland is much more extreme, if the reports of these laws are true.

breaking the law kulaha…. If you cannot see how abnormal you sound I don’t think there is any hope.

So your 15 yr old aunt was arrested by the NSS and your uncle was killed by the regime (I assume illegitimately in both instances?), but Somaliland is worse because they jailed someone who was guilty of a crime that is on the books and everyone knows about?

And you dare call someone brainwashed... Good grief, talk about a complete lack of self-awareness.

He is confirmed to have been Warsangeli.

However, this was an altercation that nothing to do with qabiil.
Where is the confirmation?

Its a lie used to push away qabilist sentiment. Reer Puntland have alot of Isaaq in their universities, Ofcourse they would say he is warsengali to reduce chance of tribal clash.

News report with fellow students and friends of the victim.

They confirm that this was about the student wanting to go back into the University to retrieve his phone that he had left behind. A confrontation with the guards of the University ensued, which tragically ended with the student being killed.

They also categorically deny that the student had anything to do with a blue flag, or that the confrontation anything to do with what he was wearing.

As always, you are steaming into something without educating yourself on the subject first. Go read further on the numerous credible news reports about this story, before you embarrass like you always do.

I don't have time to educate you on why just about everything you have written here is utter horse manure.

There is no such thing as reer sanaag.

So they killed him over him trying to get a phone?

You expect us to believe that?

I couldn't give a hoot what you believe.

That news report from a well known tv channel, interviewing friends and fellow students of the poor marxuun, was to provide normal people her further detail on what happened.

Come on now. Lets not act like people arent killed over nothing in somalia. I personally know 3 guys killed unjustly here in kismayo. Police in somalia have alot of power, and they will shoot u in the face if THEY see fit.

Of course they would say that, they would have been jailed, who would get killed for trying to retrieve a phone, it’s more sinister than that, they are trying to ruin the rep of awdal making us seem like we are anti Somalia, it’s ruining our business and universities we have no problems from student coming from elsewhere

as Samaroon i don’t support sl. This is an example. Let alone the other 50+ youth locked up in jails in Gabiley for simply wearing 🇸🇴 flag. Students coming from other parts of 🇸🇴 are main economic income for our people currently since they rent houses, paying tuition fees among other things. This is another firm of economic warfare sl uses against our people because the ports & the airport are closed & no roads connecting our cities are there currently. To take a life let alone a Muslim life for a simple flag is going to bring fitna most likely. Illahey ha u naxaaristo

News report featuring the Puntland Students Union at Caaamud University. They corroborate the story of the student going back for his phone, getting into an altercation with a soldier who subsequently shot him. Also, in this news report are the leaders of Caamud University.

Not that it should matter, but the head of the Puntland Students Union, also confirms that the student and the soldier hailed from the same qabiil.

You can believe whatever your cuqdad ridden mind tells you. I am not here to convince you otherwise.

Every news report featuring testimony from Awdal community elders, friends and fellow students of the victim, University leaders and many more, have confirmed the same story - this was an altercation over access to the University after it closed to retrieve a phone, gone horribly wrong.

Family of the victim (AUN) and his friend that was with him and witnessed what happened, confirming the details we've been hearing.

A horrible tragedy over a phone left behind. This could have been resolved easily, regardless of the University being closed.
