'' don't personally know any somalis in Denmark.
But annecdotal data is usually not very reliable anyways so I prefer statistics.
Given the relatively low number of somalis in Denmark I'd say most danes share the above with me.
Unfortunately the somali have pretty bad statistics in Denmark. They are rivaled only by palestinians and syrians (who came recently which in some ways may be a factor) in having very low employment and very high crime etc. etc.:

So I think most danes don't think too highly of somalis in Denmark. Though I'd think the vast majority will be perfectly willing to give a given individual a chance and be quick to judge him/her on actions and not ethnicity. Though surely not all, unfortunately.
Sorry if this is not what you hoped to hear.''
''they are one of the least integrated groups we have, they are way over represented in serious crime statistics - way under represented on the job market etc etc etc
as a group we would be better of without them, but that does not mean that those of us that have had interactions with them have never met some good guys/girls''

''The few somalis I've met were nice enough people. But lord have mercy on your ass if you ever ask other africans if they're somali. I don't know what they've done to be so despised in general among africans other than piracy.''
''I know that every somali is different, but they will unfortnatly not have a good reputation in denmark. Also, in my experience, looked down on by other immigrants. But of course when you meet one person at the university, at work and so one, its a nice person.''
''I know one and she's very sweet, caring and decent. She fled Somali years ago because she refused wearing a headscarf and because she saw way too much shit back then. Today she even went to my uncles funeral after he's been verbally abusing her for years.''
I don't know many Somalis other than her, but come to think about it, the ones I know are very kind.
''As a teacher, it has been a very mixed experience, although more good than bad. Somalis, like other nationalities, are different! I’ve had bright students, really funny and sweet students..as well as abused students, and really fucked up, bordering to evil, students.''
''Well I'm married to a Somali man, and he is the best person I know haha his family as well, and were very welcoming. I in general think that the Somali people in Denmark are being looked at in the worst way. Most of my Somali friends are highly educated people... So the laziness think is not something I can recognise I guess even us pure Danes are lazy and ignorant ''
''The ones I've met have strangely all had a really nice sense of humour and were all very warm humans. With that said, a majority of them had been dealt a very shitty hand by life, only being in the country because they had to flee from war and famine, and for that reason carried around some heavy trauma.''
(Strangely because it seemed like every single one of them were hilarious as f*ck with no exception.)
''The two somalis i have worked with, was the laziest people i ever met. Undskyld..''
''had very close Somali friends growing up. I have nothing againts Somalis as a whole. Unfortunately, a handful of those I knew grew up in not so nice areas and thus became entangled with the gangs there.''
''Generally, Somalis are among some of the ethnic groups who have 'performed' worst in Denmark. It's my personal impression that many Somali men in Denmark sort of 'keep each other down', but this is more of a social problem than a cultural one.''
''The only real experience i have, is a previous coworker.''
''Lets just say it wasnt positive, felt like our world views, work etic and general behaviour was very far from eachother.''
''Even tho he had been in Denmark for 30+ years, he could barely talk danish. That was despite he having a danish wife and kids, he also had a bad habit of lieing about everything.''
''The statistics aren't really in the Somalis' favor, but the Somalis I've met are great and helpful people. I also know quite a few who work in the public sector.''
''Fundamentally speaking, everyone is worthy of respect.''
''Well from experience I have met somalies two times.
Once was when four somalie men picked up a friends littlesister and I later found out they raped her.
The second time was when a somalie man moved into the apartment downstairs and blasted islamic prayer music from 3 AM to 3 PM and then when people started complaining about him he went door to door and antagonized every tenant in the building. He was high on khat constantly which made him slightly unstable. So yeah he was kicked about 3 months after moving in because the entire neighborhood rallied around the issue and got him kicked out.
Havent really met alot of somalies, but those I have were terrible people.''
''At my old dormitory, we had to replace our old refrigerators with newer models, to improve our energy rating and save money on electricity.''
''I was on the board, and we had several talks about how we would get the old ones correctly disposed of, and how much it would cost to have some company pick them up for us.''
''That turned out to not be necessary, since a group of somalis turned up in our parking lot, and they politely asked us if they were free, and, within 2 hours, all 36 full-size refrigerators were all gone.''
''Very beneficial for everyone involved.''
''If you ask the average Dane to rank people of other countries, I think you will find Somalis at the bottom. They could probably take the last two spots on the list but unfortunately they got competition at being the most criminal people in our country. Personally, I wouldn't lose any sleep if they were all deported tomorrow.''
''My father had a somali guy living at his house back in 90’s…. It did no go well, because the guy was lying a lot. Later on I went to school with his daughters, they were very agressive, however also very kind and funny. When I visited their house now and then their little brothers were oftent strapped/tied up to the couch with rope, and all kids in the house were often whipped
That is my only experiences with somalis. I know they do not do so well in Denmark compared to others nationalities. I think they somehow have a bad moral and etic, or maybe they just collectively been through shit. Look at the country… why do people hate and fight so much''
''I was freind with one time and he stole my Phone and when I Conforte him he stab me with a knife. For mabye 4 years ago i was in Hillerød and here there was a group of somali and afhgang that roomed the translation mogging ppl. I saw them mugging a young guy And I beat the shit out of them. And the police thanke me for that. So yeah there is notting Nice to say about somali.''
''Mixed.. I have had coworkers who was very lazy but also some who was very good. I served some Somali weddings where there were only males, and they were All very Nice.''
