Listen walaal, I don't need genealogy and homo science to explain to me what I can clearly observe with my eyes.
The science is literally is built on observation and testing them. That is what science is.
You could indeed identify as a Han Chinese, but ethnicity inherently works on mutual recognition. Han Chinese do not perceive as one of them. You can shout the Wu-tang Clan out, but that does not mean you are in the Wu-tang clan. African Americans have a wide range of ancestral origins and phenotypes but share an ethnicity based on a combination of race, culture and social treatment. Likewise, Somalis are a multi-ethnic people of different origins, i.e. Darood, Isaaq, Hawiye etc. but share language. By that definition, I ethnically identify with me Madowweyne brothers in the South.

Somali is like a refined version of Arab. It denotes language and a narrow culture.

If you really believe ethnic identity works on mutual recognition them, it wont mater if you Identify as Han Chinese. The Han Chinese themselves wont recognize it

Same with Bantus because other Somalis wont recognize that.

It’s true African American are heterogenous but they are defined by a unique history of slave descendency and shared experience. Their origin is from different parts of West-Central Africa but they exist in and are culturally American. Hence African-American.

Somalis are related to Arabs and share cultural simalarities being neighbors with them but ultimately seperate people and we don’t speak the same language at al. Same way a French is not a German.

Anywhoo anyone who isn’t a troll that is interested can just look at my post on page 3 , really interesting information i shared and Data that actually shows Somalis across regions and clans have the same origin and ancestry :
Lmaaoo if there would be differences between Abgaals and Isaaq in appearances then those would only be climatic regional differences not in ethnicity or ancestry.

And its true and not a myth Somalis are relatively homogenous when it comes to their ancestry , with roots in ancient admixture . From a 2020 study:

Our data reveal a remarkably homogeneous Somali population with roots from ancient mixtures of populations from Africa and the Middle East. We observed that a vast majority of our study individuals carried similar proportions of genes from those ancient populations, which possibly can be explained by the fact that ethnic Somalis have a strong genetic unification by endogamy, due to the custom of marrying only within the limits of their ethnic group, in addition to consanguineous practices

But this has zero to do with anything Nationalistic or ideological though which people try to press against it has more to do with how Somalis intermarried a lot with eachother across a large landscape and built marriage alliances between clans which created a common shared somatic -cultural features. It just a reality.

Also if there is such a thing as a real Somali, it's clearly the Iman and Abdullahi Yusuf type. Dark skin, narrow features and timo jileec.

Anything other than that and you're 2nd tier polluted by habeshas

Somalis don’t have 1 specific type of look, they have an inbuilt genetic variability.

Somalis evolved under different climatic conditions across the wide Somali region much so you can even have two blood brothers that can look different from eachother:

I don’t know why these trolls keep bringing up Habeshas lmaaaaoo

Habeshas look a certain way because they are from the highlands of Ethiopia and the climate is more humid and cooler due to the elevation. So thats why they are on average more lighter skinned than lowlanders who live in hotter less elvated less humid areas.

And Timo Jileec or loose curls are just a dry climate trait, thats why you see a higher procentage of it with Lowlanders.

There is variance even among them in almost thr same way you see among Somalis.

But overall we do resemble eachother due to being from the same stock and part of the same geography
