All that stands between them and the jiingads of Xamar are the Burundian lionsThis is all propaganda, sh*bab will never be able to takeover xamar.
What Burundians? I’ve been to xamar many times, and you don’t see Burundi soldiers in the streets. All you see are the police. They are only visible at the airport if anything. All that stands between them and the jiingads of Xamar are the Burundian lions![]()
It was posted here a few days ago. Burundian troops kicked shabaab out of Balcad which is 30 km from Xamar. In the last 24 hours shabaab took over Biyo Cadde, Miir Tuugo, Cali Fooldheere and Ceel Baraf which aren’t far from Xamar at all. I believe these are all agoonyar gaabane towns that @Jungle hails from. Thanks for teaching us your tuulos eebowWhat Burundians? The hatred for the crook Culusow and the recent visit by Abaayo Ahmed means they don’t unfortunately. Somalia’s idiotic elite picked the worst possible ‘leader’, a moron with no leadership skills whatsoever. Couldn’t run a tea stall.I hope you are wrong but it's scary seeing how quickly the Taliban's overthrew the afghan government and how quickly Assad fell to HTS in a matter of a week. It could happen in Somalia as well unless people have a strong sentiment to fight back against the khawarij
You are acting like these politicians aren’t exasperating the situation. They should be using all the funds they get to destroy Al Shabab. Or if they aren’t doing that they should be using the aid money to help the populous. But instead most of these people don’t do shit. It’s actually shameful. How many countries have been broken but the people came together to finally fix it? At least be united and broke. But we are instead both broke and dysfunctional.Be realistic what do you want politicians to do? They inherited a broken country.
Afghanistan is better than somalia idiot. The taliban literally doing massive infrastructure projects in thier country while at the same time strengthening their military.Seems all the brothers on here joking about Somalia eventually winding up like Afghanistan were maybe on the money.

There are doubts about this due to shabaab’s slight difference in beliefs and goals with regards to Taliban. Taliban have always been afghan nationalists more so than international jihadists. They don’t care about much outside Afghanistan. Shabaab wants to use Somalia as a launch pad for international jihad as they have historically therefore unlikely to focus on much else and will draw international backlash which probably means bombing of any infrastructure anyway….That's what I mean, saaxiib. That Shabab will steamroll through the propped up FGS the same the Taliban steamrolled through Karzai's propped up regime and, tbh, I wouldn't be shocked if Shabab begins instilling order and manages to get infrastructure projects going.
They believe AS takeover of Xamar brings ictiraf closer for Hargeysa. You saw their shacab saying they support Dacish over PL in those interviews. You've routinely said weird ass stuff especially that comment about "whoever they might be" that I have a hard time of believing your intentions.
Many Somali politicians are just diaspora guys who will openly tell you they are in Somalia to loot aid money. You are acting like these politicians aren’t exasperating the situation. Taliban negotiated with the USA and some of their scholars were writing books in Qatar conceptualising how their governance would like. They actively sought to convince China,Russia, India etc, that their rule would bring no harm and there was no desire for expansion. That's what I mean, saaxiib. That Shabab will steamroll through the propped up FGS the same way the Taliban steamrolled through Karzai's propped up regime and, tbh, I wouldn't be shocked if Shabab begins instilling order and manages to get infrastructure projects going.
AS will get their asses handed to them if they become apart of the axis. Or start blowing up any ships. The reason why they got their rule cut short was due to them hosting AQ in 2006. They weren’t blowing up ships back then. We only have to see. Whether they’re ready to compromise.Shabab is still following the salafi jihadi model. Unless they pivot to a more pragmatic approach and move away from AQ vision like the HTS in Syria, there is a huge risk of Somalia getting hitting with sanctions and being cut off from the world ( should they takeover).
