Oh please, I guarantee you majority of Somalis living in the U.S live in the Midwest. The neighborhoods and houses you provided us with don't look like that and even if they are lucky enough to score a brick and mortar house the mortgage is currently costly and skyrocketing. I know many families that pull loans from banks that have interest to cover their monthly mortgage.

Man you try an owning a home in the west coast this isn't the shithole you guys live in where you can buy a house for less the 500k. Man if we didn't have beautiful cities in the west, I would definitely cop a cheap house in the midwest.
