I am not a Muslim in belief, whereby i don't believe in black magic, talking ants etc. I am more of a cultural Muslim (celebrate eid, engage in fasting).

I am a communist. Siad Barre ruined the concept , he should have implimented a chinese style of communism with 5 year rotating terms.

The communist part of Somalia must return and transform the landscape of Somalia.

Yes. Several of them. Mostly in German-speaking countries.

To my understanding of a key component of communism is the idea of class struggle. It uses the idea of collectivism to overcome resource hoarding by the few at the expense of the many.

But, Somalia did not traditionally have a class system based on economy. And the vast majority of people worked for themselves/ their families because we didn’t have an industrial revolution were people went to operate factories owned by others. In that sense there was no obvious resource hoarding by the elite. We didn’t have an aristocracy.

So I am not entirely sure what MSB was trying to do. But I don’t think we can call it true communism.

I actually agree with you but the 'class struggle' in Somalia will be between us as Somalis against our colonisers and those who continue to exploit us(of course this struggle won't be just us it'll be the global south against the minority world). In general, colonised countries like our own whose own systems of division were largely overshadowed by the threats the Europeans posed will battle with imperialism not so much capitalist hoarding as we haven't yet had an industrial revolution as you've said.
