In the uk we been getting hate for almost 20 years and things started to calm down in 2018 till sadly these past couple of years the hate has returned with much more force. I know trolls are cowards but it's the brainwashing they're doing to others which is concerning.
I avoid everything to do with this but it's this forum that keeps posting which puts me off going on here altogether. I avoid the hate because it gets to me. No somali girl wants to see others calling them unattractive and everyone agreeing. Allah created women differently from men. Our emotions are different from men we are much more sensitive.
I deleted tiktok on October after those viral videos which ruined our name since. It's only this forum that keeps reposting the hate videos and keep engaging in it.
People need to stop posting hate videos on this forum. It's too toxic and we don't want to be reminded anymore.

This should be shown to many young Somali girls who are feeling insecure about their ethnicity and are even lying and saying something else which is common now. My sister was on a tiktok live of a somali girl who kept avoiding "are you somali" and was annoyed and even looked at her ajanabi friend to not spill her ethnicity. It's sad what social media did to many young Somalis psyche including mine.
You sister needs to delete TikTok and fix her algorithm!!!
I told her and gave her a warning she agreed and won't go on those type of tiktok live or fyp.
Hopefully tiktok gets banned globally so our name can heal although I'm.not sure it will if there's x and instagram reels which also push somali hate. And even if somalis do positive videos the comment section will be hell and that's ni different to hate videos!!
Instagram reels is always hateful but most of the stuff is stolen from tiktok. And X has been a racist hellhole since Musk bought it but itβs not a threat to the insecurity of young girls. We really should be focusing on white nationalists trying to inflict harm on our community due to that website.
