Ive been growing my hair out so I don't know what kind of effects those drugs will have on me because all the pictures online are of guys with short hair

its not entirely bad. Hows your diet? My hair has been growing nicely since improving my nutrition.

I was also stressed a lot so i had some thinning. Now its getting better.

eggs and veggies helped a lot.


Most likely though it might be genetics. You can just shave it bald or get a transplant if you really are concerned.

i have a healthy normal hairline however i have a lot of balding family members including my father who got a bidaar in his 30s so i am on finasteride to prevent that. 1mg 3 days a week. I have been on it for 6 months now and my hair although great before is much more thicker. No side effects whatsoever.

I advice you to jump on it because it looks like youre gonna go bald, your crown is very thin and your hairline is recessed. You can probably regrow your hair on your scalp but your hairline will only stabilize.

I dealt with some hair loss before when I went through a stressful time as a student.

Start with Rosemary oil diluted In carrier oil of your choice and put it in your hair a couple of hours before you shampoo. Also put rosemary oil in your shampoo as well and leave it on for 5 minutes when you shampoo. You should get prescribed Ketoconazole 2% shampoo or buy Nizoral from target which is otc. This helps remove the DHT that kills hair follicles.

If you prefer minoxidil, then get on that as well and do a combination of both. One you start minoxidil you need to stay on it. A good deal is at Costco… foam is better. You should be getting prescribed Finasteride to slow down the hairloss.

Some people also said that micro needling helped them. I’ve bought one before but wasn’t consistent. I would speak with a hair specialist because you can still reverse this hair loss, it’s not too bad yet.

If you are referring to the third picture then yes, you can likely thicken that area. But not your hairline. Your hairloss will stabilize and it will maintain what you have. As @Magan95 said only a hair transplant can fix your hairline but i dont think you need it and wouldn't advice it. diet is very important. Lower stress as well. The main factor for baldness is genetics though.

No i'm not on fin but i'm meeting with my doctor in May to get some. I am on minoxidil currently.
