A lot of Somalis are obsessed. Pretty sure they hardly mention us on their side. What does this have to do with Somalis
I doubt it’s obsession. Our countries are right next to each and we share similar culture and bloodline, kindaA lot of Somalis are obsessed. Pretty sure they hardly mention us on their side.
Economically?Unrelated but do somalis or ethiopians have a higher status in the Arab world economically speaking?![]()
True, I don’t want to see anything Ethiopian unless it somehow concerns usWhat does this have to do with Somalis
What do you like about it? I have tried it so many times, both in Ethiopian and Ethiopian restaurants in different countries, and it just never does it for me. I do like how healthy the food is and how on average they use more vegetables than us but i prefer our food to theirs. If i want more vegan/vegatarian options, i rather pick Indian as they have so many variety and lots of complex flavours.Ethiopian food is fire! One of my top fav foods in the world.
I just wish it wasn't so pricey.

I actually love the flavors (i love spice in general) and wanted to edit my comment to include that + shiro and doro wat are amazing too, but it's probably an acquired taste. Some love it and others hate it. I'm more in the camp of 'meh, few good dishes but other wise not that special'. Food is subjective anyways, so as long as people are respectful about it.I like the berbera taste, the spiciness as well. My favs are misr wot, tibs, and their beets.
If you don't like the sourness of the injera, there are different types with less teff that taste better. The lighter the Injera color the less teff usually.
Hmm maybe the flavors just aren't for you if you've had authentic food in Ethiopia itself.

They do know how to season their meats. But i have tried other flatbreads like kitcha and different versions of injera, and it was the same feeling. You can replace injera with rice in certain restaurants but trust me, it tastes better with a flatbread , just not injera.
Only thing I am obsessed about is deleting Ethiopia from the map. I want that country along with Habesha non Muslims, Oromo Non Muslims gone. The muslims there will be cleansed from ethno nationalism and put in rehabilitation centers. I was so unimaginably happy when the war in Tigray happened. Idk the casualties but it definitely 50k or even more. I just wished that it would continue to the point that Ethiopia balkanizes. Sadly Abiy Ahmed won, but the country is in no shape at all to make any military move. The hatred between the ethnicities is at all time high. Amharas are thirsty for blood. OLA is still in the bushes. Tigray is completely ruined. Eritrea, may Allah remove Afwerki. What a dumbass. If he helped Abiy to this existent why not join the country. Dumbass. Should have not helped until Tigrayans where at the doorstep of Addis Abeba and then should have taken over all of Tigray. Anyways bad blood between all of them. This will give Somalia time to develop properly. We have a proper President right now.A lot of Somalis are obsessed. Pretty sure they hardly mention us on their side.
Same, we had an Eritrean neighbour who cooked all types of Eritrean/Ethiopian dishes, and my mother liked some of it like Doro wat so our neighbour taught her that. But it's definitely an acquired taste for most non Ethiopian/Eritreans: you will either love it very much or really hate it. And 9/10 it's the injera that's the cause of it.I feel ya, It's an acquired taste for sure. My mom used to buy us Ethiopian food when we were kids and that's how I got hooked. Injera is a love hate relationship though. It makes the food so good yet it can be so bad at times with how sour it is.
Have you tried Kenyan meats? My god those people know their meats, very flavored and nice.
