Mother was 175cm and my dad at maybe around 173-174cm and I grew to be about 183cm. A lot of my maternal cousins are tall too. Well past 180cm. My dad's side are more normal but plenty of tall types present too. I generally noticed the Somalis I grew up with were always among the tallest kids in school compared to MENAs. I think our genetic potential is definitely to be a pretty tall population like the Dutch.
My paternal ayeeyo. Such a cute little woman. Can't say the exact numbers but she was not a lot taller than me when I was like 4-6 years old. But she was a wolveriness. One of those Somali ayeeyos you hear about with an AK47. We could afford security guards for her but she always insisted on guarding her shop herself and would sit there with the AK.
