In other words we would of preffered khawaarij crippling a large population of Hawiye in every aspect of life. Heavy taxation on all goods & produce, . restricted movement and constant civilians casualties through suicide, car and ied bombs.

West of the river has low population density compared to river bank and East of the river which make up 90% of the population of the region? Your incorrect on Mogadishu - Balcad or Jowhar - Mahdaay road which is not under Al Shabaab control and is east of the river. Balcad- Jowhar has security issues and is west of the river which reinforces my point

Where's the link to 'cat and mouse continuing' in Adan Yabaal? There has been no disturbance there since it's liberation nearly 3 years ago. As for Ruunirgood, it has been under FGS/local milita control the past 6 months.
