I never said the women gets low mehr. A father has the right to refuse his daughter to exconvict or revert and a man of low status in the Shafici Madhab. A woman should get a good mehr and a father is the wali and what you are referring to are the Salafis who push false beliefs of low mehr and convicts on born Muslims

I don't get this obsession most women have with higher education and "careers". It's a fucking brutal existence for 99% of people in the corporate rat-race. Stagnant wages, job insecurity, not to mention the fact the money you're working so hard for has less and less spending power.

Luxury items and extra income =/= happiness and fulfillment.

A father is always the Wali except if he is mentally ill. A sheikh can not be the wali when the women has brothers.uncles, grandfather etr
