Secondly Nigeria is more wealthier than his home country Bangaladesh so let us not assume that they “need him”.

What his business faced is hoops he needed to jump through if he was serious; It is to weed out the opportunists and the Nigerians are doing it very well. i am sure if an African decided to start an enterprise in Bangaladesh he or she would not have a smooth ride.

Ok guys i do not think you guys are aware of this latest HOT news. Fahim Saleh, a Bangladeshi-American tech investor and founder of Nigerian startup Gokada, was found dead and dismembered in his New York apartment in Manhattan’s Lower East Side on Tuesday (July 14).

Real reason is that foreign companies can bribe many leaders millions as they run off with billions in resources of africa while average africans remain broke due to extreme corruption by their so called leaders

I agree but it usually takes a person hitting rock bottom to be willing to think and make life changing decisions. Have we not collectively as a nation hit our bottom? You get the leadership you deserve!

Let's take Somalia as an example.

Rock bottom is relative to the global stage but on the ground the people living in Somalia have a different view.

AS is a minor nuisance to them unless they live in central Xamar since they're actually less corrupt form of government not that I'm condoning them.

The average standard of living has gone up.

I hate it when people make excuses for the shortcomings of Africa. Africans blame colonialism on their problems ignoring the fact that colonialism ended 60 years ago. India had excruciating time with colonialism too. The British literally robbed them to the last cent and today it's a manufacturing hub and future superpower.

The imperials never had a good will to enhance the situations of their colonial subjects.The unfortunate and overwhelmed mother Africa provided the necessary resources to enrich the booming industrial complex of the west.They introduced the bible to psychologically tame the primitive masses while shipping the bounties back to Europe.The loyal subjects were merely rewarded for their service to the Queen of England while the the true sons of mother Africa who resisted with a brave heart were crushed with a high tech weaponary .


The extremely wicked but smart imperialists planted their languages,religions,ideals and superiority over their colonies and with that they easily controlled their clients even after granting a meaningless independance.The most interesting part is the imprealists nurturing loyal and controllable dynastic families or dictators who serve their greedy economic and geopolitical interests without a fail.Well ,what is the ultimate interest of the neocolonisers? Africa should remain poor ,corrupt and divided in order for her to provide the necessary raw materials to the crucial industrial complex of the west .With the principles of free trade ,let African markets be dumping sites of the western trade surpluses hence the trade deficit .promote democracy to easily enhance ineffectiveness and bipartisan rivarly of their systems through tumultuous electionering flares .Those African countries ruled by dictators, they more easily controlled with the threat of human right violations or western backed coups and colour revolutions .


the above colonial factor is strengthened by the inept African leadeship and general laziness of the tribal African societies who oftentimes cant chanel their energy to the improvement of their societies.
