You are getting confused about the Xawaadle being related to leelkase myth. They have a special relationship but they are not darood, and almost every single one of them will tell you so. I am yet to meet a Xawaadle that says he is leelkase lol.


Today many Xawaadles identify as hawiye politically, but distance themselves from Hawiye. This is because of their abtirsi. They are samaale clan, not a hawiye clan.
