I don’t think you understood the subtext of OPs post. He is not talking about Somali women at large but Darood women specifically. He is saying that Farmaajo is a ‘cuck’ for not defending the ‘honor’ of the women of his clan.

I disagree. Women should not (ever) be fighting! This gender role is prescribed to us by Allah(swt). It is, and always will be, a mans job.

I don’t care how much better she might be at it, it simply isn’t our job.

Men are given the role of qawwam (protector and maintainer) by Allah(swt).

Somali men need to reclaim this role. The fact that you allow our women take on roles as protectors and maintainers, speaks volume about your level of laziness.
