So I have come across video on TikTok, it’s in somali and my somali is atrocious, but I got most of it. She basically saying they are all light whilst we are the colour of a burnt pan, despite the fact they are only this light because they bleach. And also in the comments she is liking shady comments towards darkskins. Can anyone translate the last part?

I dont think she bleaches. People who bleach usually look like burn victims.

also, somali girls never get that light without being mixed. my mom is pretty light-skinned, but she would never get that light. Light-skinned Somali girls have a light brown color, not this pasty shade of white.

I'm sure there are a few ful Somalis this light but it'd rare. Especially in Somalia, out in the sun. Staying this light would be difficult without a lot of precautions.

Not true. There are Somalis that are very pale without being admixed. It's not the norm, but they exist, I have them in my own family.

I know couples that married each other, both being pale, and I swear, some of their children made me do a double-take. Somalis tend to forget that pale Somalis do exist and if they marry each other, even moreso.
