Women who are colourist are also colourist against dark men. The men who perpetuate colourism forget that most Somali men tend to lean dark maariin, so they will be the ones to suffer as these women start to chase casaan men.

Half of my siblings are light skin and most of my cousins from matenal side are very light skinned

I personally would not encourage Somalis to marry non-Somalis, for aesthetic and cultural reasons. Compatibility is not high. As for CadCads, they introduced features and genes into certain Somali populations and I personally don't think it was an improvement.

Somalis, when beautiful, are top-tier, in all shades.

First time I came into contact with bleach creams was with my grandma. Apparently when she was younger, she was very light, but now that she's old, she's gotten more dark skin. I personally believe she's very beautiful, it's sad she's insecure about it.


Me personally, I love my dark skin, and pro-lightskin Somalis were highkey weird.
