Guys the war was initially between Cigaal and Tuur, therefore between HA and HY. What I don't understand is why did HJ enter the beef? I am assuming HY did not attack their regions, as Berbera was occupied before the Burco wars broke out.

When he gave the order to move on Berbera, the HJ removed their clansmen from his army. It was at this point that it became clear that HA and HJ had conspired against Tuurs government, and it became Garxajis vs maryo-alool. This is what ive read on somnet from X.playa.
What's your version of events? I'd like to hear all sides.
Taking in xplaya side of the story isn't something I would take literal.

X. Playa is very knowledgeable about Somali poetry, clan history and politics, but he also doesn't like certain clans, so I know his version of events may be skewed as a result.

Yes I do remember reading that the HA sabotaged him by not allowing his regime to administer the Berbera port. I do understand that HJ did not want to attack Berbera, that's reasonable because it would turn into clan warfare. However when Cigaal was elected and HY returned the favour by making sure his regime did not operate in HY soil, were the HJ eager to help Cigaal? Or did something happen that made HJ pick up the arms?
The war between Cigaal and Tuur started in Hargeisa. Ciidagales told Cigaal the airport wont be administered by his regime just like the HA told Tuur the port will stay under their supervision. Lol tit for tat at its finest.
