My Cumar Maxamud, Isse Maxamud and even my Leelkase relatives all eat it and make it at home. I'm starting to think only those Arab wannabes in Bari and Somaliland turn their nose up at it.

If it were up to me, I'd make the consumption of Cambuulo mandatory across the entire Somali peninsula at least 3 times a week. I don't even like it that much. But that stuff is great for you. Lots of protein, vitamins and minerals.

It's definitely tribal....

It's abgal food (and oddly enough East Asian/Korean) .... but southerners and lately others eat it. It's very bland to me...
