I’m not kidding, I think I have cambuulo nearly every day. It’s such a nice snack. I’m even tempted to bring it into my packed lunch so I can have it on my lunch break. My favourite combination is cambuulo, a lot of salid macsaro, and then a lot of sugar. When you heat it up, the sugar and oil mix together and it tastes soooo nice, and then a nice cold glass of barax to accompany it.
Shoutout to our ancestors. I’ll forever be grateful for this delicacy.
Also, cambuulo is a native Somali dish that’s unique to us, it’s one of one. No benadiri, indian, yemeni or Italian can say they put us on .
