This is the latest picture of a former Majeerteenia castle, location: Qandala- Bari region of Puntland. All the old castles and forts, are crumbling, dilapidated and abandoned, sadly.

We need to preserve these Somali castles. Puntland government needs to put in effort to keep these castles in good conditions.
