I asked someone in another post, do you think changing capitals would make it safer and lessen the violence, or would they just target the new seat of the gov wherever it is?

No, the locals wouldn't be al Shabab sympathizers and will work easily with the authorities. The capital is representative of country 's sovereignty. For example Algeria have region of the tribes that government have no say on them. But nobody cares. South Sudan is in civil war and famine. The same in Congo, Nigeria and Burundi. Bashar is controlling only 1/4 of country but the capital is in his hands.

Yeah I doubt there's something inherently wrong with the people when there are suicide attacks all over the world now.

The capital will change sooner or later. The status quo can't continue for ever. A country can never become functional if its own capital city is a complete warzone---there will need to be a strategic retreat, ideally to a safe place with good local conditions such as Garowe. But we will see a few thousand more toasted carcases belonging to the group that I am not allowed to name before that happens. And I can't say I'm sad about it!

Put the capital on the river shabelle in the middle of nowhere make it central and build a whole new capital thats like DC whereas Mogadishu can be New York as in the biggest city but not necessarily the capital. Second option is to make it Hargeisa, Garowe, Galkacyo or Jowhar

it'd cost less to invest in security than to move the capital. Besides, who said AS won't bomb the new city on daily basis? Hamar is at the perfect location because in the event of a war with our neighbors, it's practically impossible to attack from the sea side. It's also far enough from Both Kenya and Ethiopia. And let's face it, we would never lose to Ethiopians or Kenyans if they tried a land invasion assuming we are a country with army and without AS disturbing us.

Bosaso is 440km away from the Ethiopian border.. while Muqdisho is just 330km away from The Ethiopian border. according to your logic Bosaso is better suited to be the Capital.

Mogadishu was built so that it can prosper away from habasha attacks but it became a disuniting entity due to it being isolated and out of touch with the grievousness's of its people. When there's no external threat, an internal one is created. The Macedonian kingdom under Alexander was able to unite europeans against persian forces because they were the ones bordering them. The enemy bordering provinces are capable of uniting people as history has shown thus the capital must be fighting for its existence to form a strong unifying block
