It's not being confused. It's considering all the potential options. A countries disintegration is not like us eating a plate of injera and wot at a restaurant bro. It's complex and effects the lives of millions of human beings. At least Yugoslavia had well established borders, so their splitting up was a lot easier and less destructive. The same cannot be said for Ethiopia. I know somalis hate Ethiopia but jumping from evil situation to an even more evil one isn't in our interests.

A . Referendums and independence. Can this happen without some kind of support from the international community? What would be the proposed borders of the various new countries? Are those borders agreed upon? If not, then what? Non stop border wars that results in millions or refugees and bloodshed?

I'm not sure that the majority of the Somalis in Ethiopia would agree that non stop wars with your neighbors is better than the bad situation now. At least there is peace in Somali region. Somali mother's and father's do not worry if their kids will come back safely from school or work. Ya know?

@Kanan ONLF have survived and have matured into a respectable Organisation.ONLF is not dead but one of the important opposition groups the west is consulting with along side OLA & TDF.
