Ur confusing political clout with social clout, that's a big mistake. Many clans don't have much political say but are very well respected in Somali society (eg Sheekaal), while others who have more political say are not viewed with much esteem (eg Raxanwayn), even though I personally believe all clans should be viewed equally. Also, the only reason Isaaqs don't vie for the presidency and prime minister-ship of Somalia is because Somaliland is doing it's own thing. If we joined the union then of course we'd have a big slice of the political pie.
