Lol warya why are you citing a notorious CBB troll. He is always peddling lies and conspiracy theories. Independent mind blocked me on twitter because he couldn't handle the smoke and than unblocked after some time. He is such a weirdo.
Why is this dog always the first to come at anything doubting Somali history. Get a leash on this habesh.

A very interesting informative twitter thread about shisheeye's war on Somali history.
Shout out to the guy who made this twitter thread :salute:

I wonder if it was a translation issue. A lot of Western Europeans tend associate one’s race with their religion and think other religions/sect of Christianity in the same way as Judaism. Muslim=Arabs, Orthodox Christian =Slavs & Ethiopians, Catholics=Iberian, Mediterraneans, Irish.
From my own personal experiences and observations, westerners, especially Americans believe that Somalis, East, and North Africans are either Arabic or mixed because the religion and Arabic names . My Somali family original surname was Arabic and they spoke the language fluently. Then there’s the fact that my and certain qabils claim to be the descendants of Arabic Muslim prophets, too.

For example: I’ve had Hebrew Israelites & Moorish Americans tell me that I’m not of north/east Afroasiatic descent because my name isn’t Arabic( because they, like most immigrants during that time took WASP names) and Catholic. And they think that my father’s family were white Arabs because their phenotype, my Berber family are very pale to olive-tan, and being originally Sunni Muslim because they believe it’s a whitewashed version of β€œtrue” Islam

Or white Americans, both leftists and right wingers have an extremely hard time with the concept of white Muslims and not connecting Muslim with brown skinned people. A lot of caadan nationalists that hate Muslims completely ignore the fact the Ottoman Empire, one of greatest most influential empires in Europe was Muslim and Islam is the second most popular religion there. As of today, the Muslim-majority regions of Europe are the Balkans (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, and the European part of Turkey), some Russian republics in the North Caucasus and the Idel-Ural region, and the European part of Kazakhstan. Islam’s been on the continent since the 7th century. But neo-nazis like to pretend that Islam is similar to voodoo or something. A
Kinda like how they see Jews, but not as bad .

Harar should be a principality with its old royal family restored by planting one of its descendants there, and have it become the Horn’s Andorra or Monaco. That would be us honouring our ancestors in this modern age of nations.

Don’t let one troll skew your perception of a brotherly people.

I already know that. Harar and it’s surronding regions should be an autonomous region and it should be our economic trading center with the Ethiopian highlands and the coastal regions as its always historically been.

Harar are brotherly people to us but us somalis need to make it known Harar is much as ours as its theirs. Most somalis today don’t know Harar was ruled and arguably even founded by somalis.

I agree with you, the dream scenario should be that Harar is restored to its former glory. Capital of muslims in the Horn.

With the way the Muslims population are blowing up insanely compared to the Christians in the region, it should be practically ours by 2100. Inshallah the Muslim Habesha convert their orthodox people

There are so few of them left so I’m content with their ownership of the city if it were to ever become independent. In fact one of our goals as Adalite kin would be to help them boost their population size to the 2 million mark minimum and beyond. Double the current population of Hararis died in Tigray within the span of just two years, which shows you how precarious the Harari situation is from a regional perspective.

Other groups are also abusing the Ge limaad system, and are outright claiming their entire culture as their own. We should not emulate that.

Ge limaad system?

A man from Mogadishu or Hargeisa could arrive in Harar with no ties to the city, learn its language, customs and culture and henceforth be accepted as a man of Harar.

It was a prestigious initiation as Harar post-Adal was a walled city-state, where people could acquire scholarship, trade and pass through but they were not accepted as an Harari until they did so via the Ge limaad system.
