Gurgura really got screwed over by somalinimo, just to get betrayed by dir looking for their own interests. Which is why many are pro somaliland, even supporting wanting revenge on dhulbahante in the recent war, but Somalia means so much more than this petty stuff. One of our beaches turned into a resort that can feed 5 idp camps off of its revenue and we have thousands of locations to choose from. Any talk of Qabil of your denotes this dream, although a little light bickering is harmless.

You ask anyone to define Somalinimo and they wont give a straight answer. Socially and culturally speaking Somalis have no issue with each other, we marry from one another we got the same language.

However, using it as a political tool to gain leverage over Landers is what yall do. Its a Facade its vague waa wax lagu dan shaqaysto and no one is buying that bs. Using the term jeegan does not make any sense for God sake its like me calling you a Kacaanist. We invented that term and stopped using it since it has lost its meaning. If you want the truth, it’s out of refusal to say “SL”, jeegan is used as substitute. The belief is, saying “SL” would make it real, so said something else instead. But if there’s people willing to die for it repeatedly, it’s already real. Whether some people like it or not. Nobody really cares about the border, even Qabil is put to the side when having kids.

Nothing will likely happen though since Hassan Sheikh can’t move forward in it, because Somalia is not yet part of the organization they sent it to.

That bit about the WSLF is fine since they were freedom fighters but also a vehicle for barre to commit other atrocities against other Somalis. He preferred at the time OG and mx so that in of itself a cause for conflict.
