Having blue eyes or different coloured hair isn’t a big thing. They are simply mutations that were preserved through genetics to better suite their environment.
They have Neanderthal and stern/manly features facially (along with niger-congo women). I prefer women with large eyes , smaller faces, caramel/light brown (depends) skin colours, black hair, smaller bodies, and feminine features.

I have 98 segments of Neanderthal like most somalis. Her facial structure is attractive and would be better if she had darker skin.
About the blue eyes gene, they did a study from Jordan to Europe and found all blue eyed people have one common ancestor. I am not sure the switch happened in their DNA was for environmental reasons. It is the claim made but looking at the function of Melanin in our DNA, we know that Melanin is responsible for colour of our hair and skin. Everyone has more or less amount unique to them given off by that Gene resposnible for the Melanin release. They found out that blue eyed people have a switch next to OCA2 gene. And that switch limits their Melanin release amount to a tiny bit where their iris turns blue. Then there is green and all other hues of eye colour that are not the most common brown color in humans. All are dependent on the amount of Melanin released. Very interesting stuff.
I guess to me, the take away is what Allah said about human skin colour and language. No matter how they come about in the practical world and through our biology, it is a sign of God's ability to diversify mankind despite their one common origin. A reminder for those willing to reflect on the creative achievement of our maker.
PS: If cold weather and snow would alter genes, it would have done for others who lived in such environements for over thousands of years. Like Native indians and Skimo.
