Those have long gone as the country is poor and mis-managed now you can only use the 1k 5k notes unless you use zaad

Cup of tea used to be 500 some olders remember it being 300. My earliest memory was 1usd = 3000 now it's 9-10k

When I first came to Somalia, people were still using the 500 Shilling. @Jungle can confirm, after AY wrecked the economy and Ethiopians came in the 1000 Shilling become the standard. Sad.
