my sister whos a grown adultsaid today Allah never blessed her with anything and never did her good despite her having food and water. She refuses to acknowledge that it is Allah that blessed her with food, she instead thanks my mother for providing her food. She refuses to even thank Allah for anything. When I asked her to thank Allah our mother is alive she refused. She also said she will not pray because Allah never did her good. She also refuses to believe duas being answered smh I'm so angered with her statement. that literally.takes her out of the fold of islam. The scary part is she believes she's 100 percent right and claims she's muslim. Because of Allah not blessing her she will not pray.

She’s defo an apostate just isn’t brave enough to say it out loud, you would never hear this come out of the mouths of secular muslims.

Yeah and couple of years ago she did apostate than supposedly repented. And now she's coming with this talk? she even said she always felt like this.

@TheLand if you have nothing of value to say please leave my thread. You clearly came with the intention to undermine my post.

Keep making dua for her and being kind to her if possible. Allah guides whom He wills.

She is going through a struggle with faith. That doesn't mean you should stop loving her. She's still your sister. Treat her better than you ever did. Maybe that's your test from Allah as her sister.

She's always had these views. She even apostate more than once than repents but this time she meant with her statement. And the sad part was that she was proud of her statement. I do make dua for her and I will continue to do so. I like her and care for her if I didn't I wouldn't be worried or make dua for her but I can't love someone who rejects Allah favour. How can I? I'm just hoping this isn't lasting and with me and my other sister dua she gets guided and change her ways.

Yeah she is but nor majorly and is still not an excuse to say such a thing. She's been indoors for more than a decade completely cut off from the outside world.
Agreed. Though she is a shut-in, having experienced long-term isolation. That sounds majorly depressed to me. That does not seem healthy for anyone to go that long disconnected from well, society. Perhaps she should see a counsellor, mental health professional, and highly learned and empathetic religious figure.

She refuses any of these. We try to help but it all falls on deaf ears. We ran out of giving advices since she refuses to listen.

Do you think she’s completely given up? Could this be due to ego or resistance? Sadly, some people engage in self-sabotaging behaviours, even when they know it's harmful, simply out of that sense of resistance.
