Did sultanates, , ifat and adal, annex Mogadishu?

This is a map of ifat according to an Arabic book مجلة العرب

i Look at these edits and I hope Somalia appears in them 😣
No or at least there is no evidence of them ever ruling over mogadishu on the other hand there is plenty of evidence of them having contact with each other and in some cases having a military cooperation. Mogdishu have been mentioned in the futuh al-habasha and have also been mentioned in fatah madinat harar a book about the history of harar where a delegation of awliya' was sent to mogadishu asking for help against their enemies.

There was this ethiopian ruler that defeated an army of adal and then boosted that he now control mogadishu since he defeated the adal sultan. Finally there was a mention of a military contingent sent by mogadishu to help out the adal against the solomonic dynasty before imam ahmed's conquest of bilad al habasha.

Isn't the union of two kingdoms considered
It's an alliance between two different kingdoms. I recall reading a portuguese writing of how all the moors or the muslim in the horn respect and adorn the imams of adal. If true you could say that it was the first time a united somalia ever existed all thanks to islam.

Well, the same thing happened with the Islamic kingdoms in the Horn of Africa with ifat
Ifat conquered these kingdoms by the military force and afterwards they became the subject of ifat. later on ifat control over these kingdoms weekend so much so that these very same muslim kingdoms were pledging duel loyalties to both the adal and the solomonic dynasty.

@Garaad diinle Does this mean that Somalia does not have any expansion?
