Women see divorced men and men who have never been married differently as well. So what is your argument? Most women prefer men that have never been married as well.

What does that have to do with their inherent value?

Also, saying they are not the same is not the same as saying divorced/widowed women are 'used' goods which is what you are trying to defend.

Are women objects to be used and abused? Have the women in your family been used upon marriage as that is what you're essentially arguing?

Also, divorced women get remarried all the time in the past and in the present.

I think ‘used’ is harsh but your also missing the point or he wasn’t clear . A lot of these girls stories are an embarrassment.

One is on YouTube detailing how she used to wash her ex husbands backside when he goes to the toilet and another explains how she was on the verge of divorce yet she ran back to her husband who basically used her for cooking and extra for Ramadan and tried to toss her to the curb on EID day lol.

Any man with dignity and pride would avoid such women not only because of their story but the fact they think it’s a good idea to tell a public domain in the name of entertainment and ‘story-time’ .

It’s nothing to do with virginity and everything to do with not becoming a public embarrassment

If it had nothing to do with virginity, they would not be refered to as 'used goods' as that is what the term means. Their insults would be directed at their behaviour and not at their marital status.

On sspot, divorced/widowed women are routinely referred to as used goods. Many nacaas here laugh, even though their own mothers were once divorced, with some even having stepfathers.

Its doqon behaviour influences by Alt right western sexism.

A marriage is made up two people, arguments happen between two people. Yet people like you always like to blame the women and then sickeningly reduce their value to their sexual statues i.e virgin/non virgin.

There is nothing wrong with having preferences, most of my unmarried friends wouldn't go for a divorced or married man, yet they still don't talk about them like they lack value.

Divorces happens, get over it. The world doesn't revolve around you, so to be frank what you would marry is none of my concern. And adding daqaan to your argument doesn't make sense, as women in the past used to get divorced and would often get remarried with no problems. I know this for a fact as I have family members who are 70+ who got divorced in their youth and got married again to have many children and from them grandkids.

It's because the man gave xoolo to her father. Most men don't go into divorce quickly so if she wants a divorce, it would mean that the father has to return the xoolo which he doesn't want to

Thats clearly a lie. I have very older women in my family who were divorced in the 1950's and 1960s.

All of them got remarried and went on to have 5+ kids.

Doesn't seem like divorce rarely happened. Spoke to elderly members and have read enough books on Somalia in the early 20th century.

Obviously wasn't as bad as it is now, but it happened and certainly wasn't considered shocking, unless you are from some parts of the waqooyi Galbeed.
