That is actually possible and I've see people do it. They stack all their classes in one day and take one online.

Then they work three straight 12 hour shifts and space out the next two in between the remaining 4 days.

yo how much are masters degrees in Canada?:cosbyhmm:

there's no cap on postgrad fees in england, and these uni's are getting greedy every year. the course i want to do costs an obscene amount of money.

Cheaper than undergrad. It'll cost you on average 12-15k per year as an international student.

I think that includes rent.

It depends if you want to do a thesis or a non thesis, mostly you get funding if you are willing to become teacher assistant for some courses or you get funded by a company. I dont know about your situation tho because you qualify as an international student

isnt masters one year in canada?

if it is, then that's half of what I'm expected to pay (without rent, just uni fees)

2-3 years. Usually 2. And that is annual payment not the full thing.

And that figure on the site is actually all inclusive with living expenses.

the masters i want to do is around 30k, its one year. there's some government loans and there's also potential scholarships which are very very competitive ( i need straight A's), but even then, I'll have to pay most of it.

i dont want to be a TA. i think its best if i just try hard for few scholarships and pay the rest myself instead of going all the way to canada.

that works out to about the same amount then.

here, its one year, 30k (not including living expenses)

True. For your situation it wouldn't be worth much.

No money granted or lost. Our loan system might be slightly better so maybe research that.

mech E. I might get masters in aeorspace tho because I love it but it not being that versatile was the reason why I opted out.
Yeah Aerospace is one of those specialized fields, it wouldn't be smart to major in it. One of my friends did biomedical engineering and i told him many times to master in it and do mech e bachelors, now he is unemployed and going to a technical school to do a two year technician degree :bell:

biomedical is actually pretty good right now. You sure he didn't do something else? Or maybe his gpa is a mess.

He shouldn't be unemployed. Some people who head hr divisions have degrees in multiple fields outside hr and there are tons of places out west to find jobs. He either doesn't want to move or isn't applying enough.

Biomedical Eng is actually a good degree, and highly sought after now. the biomed eng jobs that used to be given to mechanical eng graduates are specifying specialisation now so his degree would easily grant him those jobs (since not many people usually pick biomed eng, these jobs are not competitive as of now) . he definitely shouldn't be giving up on that feild.

The problem is that this somali guy is soo hard headed, he screwed up his two coop positions and they wrote on his coop profile that he doesn't try at all, his resume is also a complete mess not to mention the competition for these positions is surprisingly fierce. He honestly put himself in this situation since he has that " I dont give a shit" attitude. Theres only so much i can do to help:manny:

No I'm saying Canada absurdly values scientific degrees even in areas where they aren't required. HR and and entry level federal jobs. He'd have to be a buffoon with a criminal record not to land something with that degree.

He isn't trying probably.

Edit: I know a nigga that got hired by the Catholic school board and he took software engineering

This country don't give a f*ck sometimes :ileycry:
