It's always people who can barely string two words together in Af Somali who make threads like this. Ciyaal fish and chips yaa naga qabta?:mugshotman:

nope I always been saying it like that iyaga ku yidhi ,wuxuu yidhi , ayuu ku yidhi
Waxa aan= I
Yidhi= He said
Idhi= I said

"Waxaan yidhi"= I, he said

"Odhaah" and "Dheh" are basically the same words.
=say, saying, etc.

Odhaah=oo dheh, dhihid= saying, say etc.

DHEH:
Dhahayaa(I or he) present
Dhahay(I or he) past

Dhahaysaa(she) present
Dhahday(she) past

ODHAAH:
Odhanayaa(I or he) present
Yi+odhaahday=Yidhaayday(he) = Yidhi for short. Past
And if you take out the "y", it becomes
I said= Idhaahday= Idhi, for short.

Odhanaysaa(she) present
Ti+odhaahday=Tidhaahday(she) = Tidhi for short. Past

If the root word is dheh, then the "correct" way to say/spell it, is with a dh not r. After all, it's dhihid not rihid, imo.

1waxan kuu idhi
2 wuxu kuu yadhi
3 waxay kuu tidhi
Afkina hooyo barta
Wax aan/uu/ay ku idhi/yidhi/tidhi.

Ku and kuu make big differences.

For example:
"Waxaan ku idhi sidan samee"= (I'm telling you) do it this way.
"Waxaan kuu idhi sidan samee.."= I told you to do it this way because..
