Intangible language does not change tangible biology. In America they all speak English, yet clearly White Americans and Black Americans do not identify as belonging to the same group.

PS. I don't ''barely'' speak Somali. My Somali is at upper B2 / C1 level (CEFR levels). I just don't admire it because it is so useless for me on a day-to-day basis.
What dialect do you speak?

Did you live in a big city or a small tuulo?

Depends on which region you're in tbh:manny:

I went from basically North Somalia to South Somalia.

Went from Djibouti to Somaliland to Puntland to Jubaland. My Dhaqan Celis was mainly in Southern Somalia.

I stayed in Garoowe for a couple of months, then went to Eyl for a couple of weeks, then stayed in Galkacyo for some more months. I spent about 1 year and 2 months in Puntland, and the rest of my Dhaqan Celis I split my time in a city called "Bu'aale", if your familiar with it, and Kismayo. I was pretty much in Jubbaland the majority of my time.

Yeah, but I got used to the travel after a while.

I went to school, but when I was off school, I did the badiyo geeljire life. The geeljire life is so chill but it's boring at the same time.
