Do you tell people ur Somali

Is this the first time you interacted with a Lander?

Have you ever visited Hargeisa,Berbera,Gabiley & Wajaale? There’s more political opinions outside of your qadaadweyn echo chamber. You got to be under 20 yrs old
I’ve interacted with many ”landers” in real life, all behaved like your average somali lol, tbh I have yet to hear anyone identify with SL (except for one girl), keep in mind that I grew up with many isaaq

The vast majority of landers say they are from Somaliland , they do it to avoid being associated with Somalia's issues. There's even a tendency among landers to get offended if they are called "Somali" which is just our ethnic group
SL is not an ethnicity issue, we are somali ethnicity wise. I have never seen SL people deny their somalis so thats new to me. If a Djibouti says his from Djibouti but ethnicity wise is somali everyone says thats fine. An NFD saying i am from Kenya but my ethnicity is somali than its fine. But when SL say they are from SL suddenly its a big problem.

SL is not an ethnicity issue, its a political issue and SL people decided to be independent from Somalia due to political issues as well as the safety and well being of the SL citizens. Djibouti, K5, NFD are somalis but not in Somalia. North Korea and South Korea are different countries but both are Korean. So why not SL?

You clearly never met Landers. All the sugary qadaadweyn malawax and cambuulo got to your head

Djibouti and Kenya are recognized countries.. SL is not. So most isaaq I’ve come across say they’re from Somalia not Somaliland, that’s what I mean by they do as other somalis.. im sure u understood that.

Say isaaqs seek independence, ”SL people” is too vague.

and? You are just making my point. Being from a separate country doesn’t negate ethnicity. Your buddy @Som said that anyone who isn’t from the failed state or identifies with the failed state is an Ethiopian
SL is not.
SL is defacto independent regardless of international recognition. So those from the state of Somaliland will identify with their nation whether snowflake crybaby Somalians like it or not.
So most isaaq I’ve come across say they’re from Somalia
This is how I know you are smoking on something strong or just straight up lying. Isaaqs will always say where they are from whether SL, Djibouti or Ethiopia. You sound delusional.

You live in a separate universe apparently where Isaaqs are Blue Flag patriots who only tell people they are from Somalia. You sure you are not using drugs this Ramadan?

lol I’m 100% serious btw, SL have yet to come up in conversations, somalis in nordic countries do not identify with clanstates, I’m assuming it’s different in the UK

Not only isaaq, Majority of SL people, I am including majority of the people not the clans only. Issaq gadabgursi, Akisho, Gabooye, yibir are all majority for SL. Dhulbahante and Fiqi shine are probably majority Somalia but the voting ratio would probably be 3:7 for Somaliland:Somalia. Warsangeli and others are unknown who they will favour. Still if there was voting it would probably be 80% for SL and 20% against Somaliland.

I’m not from the UK or even Europe. You are delusional and perhaps they don’t feel comfortable talking politics with you. Go visit SL and talk to the people themselves or are you to afraid to confront actual Landers in real life? Abaayo nooh folks do seem a bit effeminate and weak.

Some SL citizens have proudly said they feel closer to Ethiopians than their fellow Somalis

Nah they mean the actually Ethiopian Xabashis
I can answer your obsession to this recent social media banter.

In the 1960s isaaq was one of the most somali jeceyl compared to any other qabils at the time. Our grandfathers had somalinimo blood in them. There is evidence when the British gave somaliland an option similar to Djibouti to become an independent country that was not part of Somalia. We chose to join with our people and took the calan all the way to Mogadishu. Djibouti smartly chose to be independent cause they knew somalis cannot live and agree to each other on small matters. Our reward was the genocide attempt by saiyad barre that today some youngsters in social media are trying to eradicate the event.

Since the establishment of Somaliland our relationship with Ethiopia has grown including the trade and economy. The song is not about ethnicity but the strong relationship and the recognition of Somaliland. I know your talking about the song, I saw it in tiktok, you took it personal and serious.
