Bro, you know how it goes. Ramadan comes, and suddenly everyone’s on their deen—praying on time, reading Qur’an, making du‘ā’ like their life depends on it. Then Eid hits… and boom, it’s like none of it ever happened.
One day you’re standing in qiyām, next thing you’re snoozing Fajr like it’s nothing.
But ask yourself—was Ramadan just a phase? Or was it training?
Don’t Be Like That Lady in the Qur’an
Allah mentions a woman in the Qur’an who spends all this time weaving a strong thread… then undoes it with her own hands.
"And do not be like the woman who untwists her spun thread after it was strong..." (Surah An-Nahl 16:92)
That’s literally what some of us do. We build good habits in Ramadan, then tear them down right after. Like, what was the point?
Allah Didn’t Leave After Eid
Salah is still fardh, not just a Ramadan thing.
Qur’an is still guidance, not just something to stack rewards in Ramadan.
Sins are still dangerous, even if shaytaan tries to make them look “normal” again.
Jannah is still the goal, and we don’t know if we’ll even reach next Ramadan.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
"The most beloved deeds to Allah are those that are consistent, even if they are small." (Bukhari & Muslim)
So even if you can’t keep up everything you did in Ramadan, don’t drop everything either.
Keep That Same Energy
Lock in your 5 daily prayers—bare minimum, no excuses.
Read some Qur’an daily, even if it’s just one page.
Keep making du‘ā’—Allah didn’t just listen in Ramadan.
Watch your company—are they helping you stay on track or dragging you back?
