Madow and ethnic men get with and elevate white women so that they can have a proximity to whiteness. White men historically looked down on blackness or race mixing as they thought it would taint their ‘whiteness’ and that of their future offspring.

Black and ethnic people think having white in their blood is something to be applauded and sophisticated.

On the other hand Europeans thought having ethnic blood was degrading.

Tbf we need a vast study on how many African leaders married white, I'm aware of some but I'm sure 90% are with their own, hell in Puntland no one can serve in government if they have a white or other spouse, which is pretty crazy to think about. When you look at the NBA/NFL AA men are highly valuable, can get any woman they want and majority are still with black women.

I definitely agree with the assessment that non-white men have significantly lower self-esteem; and this can be chalked up to the criteria that men have historically used to measure themselves up to other men -- wealth, power and freedom of action...

..And when that is factored in, a very somber, unsettling reality sets in -- and mentally weaker men from other races succumb to despair and self-debasement; and this is precisely why they seem have no qualms with absorbing and re-affirming European beauty standards.

Europeans on the other hand have an incredibly high regard for themselves in phenotypical, intellectual and moral terms, and will valorize their women and their most defining, unique features -- blonde hair, blue eyes and porcelain skin.

One has to wonder if low self-esteem is the reason African leaders don't seem to think that their popupations materially deserve what Europeans have attained for their populations -- especially for their women and children.

It should be obvious to everyone that prestigious positions like First Lady should be strictly reserved for the highest representations (most beautiful, graceful) women from your collective self, and not to outsiders.
