Having them work alongside us to build ports and having a stake in the investment afterwards doesn’t equate to giving them 4 ports my friend. Nation Africa is good, Reuters also says “investing in joint infrastructure” regarding this deal.

like you said yourself, parliament never ratified this agreement. If Ethiopia wanted over 50% stake, then that would be them owning it. If you can find that then sure, Farmaajo wanted to give 4 ports, but for now thats not the case. He never signed it and it says “joint investment”. So we can likely assume Farmaajo may have had a foreign help to allow him to get a larger share size than Ethiopia.

Imagine having the sort of dominance they had on us in 30+ yrs, where everything concerning Somalia went through them. Just this week Blinken was in Cairo discussing Somalia among other things with Sisi. Yesterday the HoA envoy met with the masri foreign minister discussing the HoA.
