Faarax Uber driver refuses to pick up Xalimo

@ZakWantsToPlay

Sxb, the Islam that you guys make a mileage here is unadoptable to Somalis in Somalia? It is a place like Armageddon and let me ask you, how is a "'s" behaviour in London, Melbourne or in Minnesota worse than what is happening in Somalia? These murderers in Somalia would make the same comment about that Halima. Is it Islam?

Is that how you would like to be judged of (Somali) Islam?

I am one of those people who do not excuse failures and bad behaviour that is contradictory to a somali person's stated beliefs. I am not emotionally attached to any human being for them to get away with something they are doing or have done wrong. I am stubborn, or like to think i am stubborn in following my convictions. I would have ccondemned my dad if he crossed a line that was obviously contradictory to his beliefs. Luck would have it that I inherited his principles and personality. He was a man of honour and of his word all the way to his death. I would not ask people to make a compromise on their principles for me too., Simply put: Principles are principles and people ought to follow. And I do agree with you, Somalis are full of sham when it comes to on of the most important aspect of their religion. It is why their country is suffering and its earth scortched. Somalis failed to uphold their beliefs and chose Clan bigtory over unity. They deserve what happened to them for that reason and I have no sympathy for them.

I don't care how other people behave as long as they are not committing crimes against me or others. I do admire Somalis who succeed in life and become positive role models to young Somalis and children. There are many of them and most of them are Somali females. However, ,when you hear narratives like many Somali mothers (relayed to me by a non-Somali Muslim friend) who are dressed the abbaya and claim welfare in the pretence that their last 4 children were born out wedlock (to hide her husband and claim to be a single mum) and yet, she refuses to shake hands with her male case workers because Islam bans it and staff at the welfare office labels them as hoehijabis, I think Somali Muslims should concentrate on this culture rather than a random Somali girl wearing "skimpy clothes" and going out. These Somalis do disservices to Islam and they would negatively comment about the "naked" Halimas. Sxb, priorities.

Low I.Q. from him. Its like working in a grocery store and refusing to sell alcohol to someone because it goes against their morals.

Obviously as an uber driver you will have to pick up women dressed in skimpy clothing , drunken bastards totally wasted coming back from a party or nightclub. What did he expect when he took on the job?.

If he wanted to stick to his deen, he could have simply choose to work in a warehouse or as a security guard.
uber drivers are not like grocery store workers, they have there own agency and choice(financial freedom), and can pick and chose who they pick up, there not employees

Exactly. There is no shame in honest halal work. They are all looking from above like they are financial moguls.
Funny thing is there’s almost no way they out earn them lol, @VixR for example is a nurse, so we’re talking 40 to 60k a year, you can make 100k of Uber If you put in the right time lol

I’m not a nurse, but I might be if I get into a Nurse Anesthesia program over my Med School choice, and depending on how scholarships work out. I’m taking all the necessary prerequisites, as well as some business courses, and will be applying to all, and going with the best option.

Nurses are 1000% smarter than Uber drivers (low IQ work). They think critically. I can’t respect someone who their whole life plan is to drive people around from A to B, and your spouting bs on their earning potential and the comparative earning potential of nurses.

How are nurses smarter when they get paid salaries and are employees? Basically wage slaves in the grand scheme of things, picking easy financial freedom, seems smarter overall, especially in neoclassical theory where the one that earns more is better period, in the case of Uber, it’s based on you and how much time you want to put in, 10 hours a day will net you 100k but not everyone wants to work that much, some do it on the weekends, some for fun, some for a little extra money, some as a part time job, but if you take it full time and are serious, and have the drive and work ethic you can make 6 figures

So you take peoples job into consideration before you decide if they are worthy of your respect? Nurses are the taxi drivers of transport world. The most common and easiest to get into. You should respect them cause you are far closer to them than doctors or surgeons

From an economic stand point she’s worse off than many Uber drivers, they don’t get paid a low stagnant wage, but instead money per trip which is why they have greater economic potential

Nurses went through anywhere from at least 4 years of school up to a doctorate. They have to think critically, and have people’s lives in their hands.

Nurse Practitioners and PA’s do exactly what a physician does, independently without oversight, and NPs can run their own practice same as a DX.

A Nurse Anesthetist puts you under same an Anesthesiologist, independently and without oversight.

Comparing the above to Uber drivers: lol.

@Tukraq

"6 figures"? Is that in Somali shillings?

This is from your city paper Seattle Times.

How much do Uber drivers really make?

The figure ranges anywhere from $8.55 an hour to $13.04, depending on who is doing the calculating.

A new analysis about Uber drivers’ wages finds that they take home about $9.21 an hour, or less than minimum wage in many of the biggest markets where the ride-hailing service operates.

Read my post above, I said if you take it full time, an seriously, remember many in Seattle are college white kids doing it for leisure bringing the average down, there’s a wide range some make 6 figures or 2k a week(which is very achievable), while others make 200 dollars a month, this is thus a field where averages can’t be used and thus these are misleading statistics

Oh I respect nurses and what they do. But you gotta admit a doctor looks at them the same way pilots look at taxi driver. I mean nurses are most of the staff in hospitals and do all the basic stuff. Also why do so many nurses hook up with doctors. Last time I visited my sister in hospital giving birth. These two nurses were drooling over the doctor. I have always been uncomfortable with how doctors see them as nothing but play things.

But I respect anyone doing honest job. Vix I hope you get into your desired program and succeed.

That’s not my observation as far as the dynamic between DXs and Nurses. It isn’t hostile at all.

And DXs usually date/marry DXs. Nurses are varied.

You and I can’t relate. I do place value in degrees, especially depending on what it is, and what you do with it.

Taxi/Uber driving should only be supplemental until you get where you’re going. If it’s your life’s work or a long-term, I’m sorry.

@Tukraq

How could you make six figure wages from an hourly wage between from $8.55 an hour to $13.04 even if you work full-time? Is it in pesos?

It is great that one to have a job and lives off his earnings but don't glamorise driving Uber and make wild claims that it pays better than being a nurse. Sxb, sometimes I feel embarrassed on your behalf for what you say here.

You're definitely a poster that baffles me. I refuse to believe that you are sincere in your views.

You're a great troll.

They marry doctors but have affairs with nurses. Doctors don't marry nurses cause they look down on them. One of best friends is male nurse

Uber prices I’ve took were from 18 dollars to 37, this is per ride by the way, meaning you can get several of these in an hour, like I said those statistics calculated were misleading and inaccurate

@Tukraq

So we have to believe your numbers (research) and disregard the investigative report done by Seattle Times? Typical reer Mudug.
