I've seen the light. Feminism (not in its modern form) is an incredibly important movement.

A woman disappeared in London last week and it was found a police office killed her and it made me think. As men it's easy to take the simple things in life for granted. I couldn't sleep last night so I went for a walk at 3am near a forest. I can't imagine a woman doing the same. Men flashing/groping women is also a more serious problem than I ever thought.

Paedophilia and violence against women is also far too normalised. Even on this site, you see shit like 'I need some young malab' or 'Im cuffing a young gazelle'.

Feminism/women empowerment would better suit low income places in the west and underdeveloped countries better than major cities in the west imo

Well I’m glad you’ve come to this realisation.

It doesn’t have to be called feminism ( since so many people have an issue with that word) we can call it female civil rights or whatever you like. But we defiantly need some education/training/awareness for men to teach them they are not entitled to women and women’s bodies.

But this needs to be followed up and reinforced by the whole culture. Things like the industry needs to be shut down or at least tightly controlled.

I don’t even know why anyone would disagree with this. I guess the word ‘feminism’ triggers so many people. Acknowledging the violence women go through shouldn’t be controversial. Anyone who brings up shariah law while stating there is no need for ‘feminism’ (more like fair treatment, common human decency) is part of the problem. I can’t even think of one truly just country that claims they abide by shariah law. How can these countries fully abide by shariah while having cultures that view and treat women in such disgusting ways? Shariah is perfect but humans are not, let’s start by addressing that.

Saudi is different because its pretty modern. I know plenty of girls who've worked there. Unfortunately, some of the men act like they've never seen a woman and follow at times. As long as you're in a group with other women, you should be fine.

Yemen has had many issues over the years of 8 year olds being married off and dying on their wedding night because they were still obviously children. Wtf is wrong with you.

I have Yemeni friends and was partially raised in the gulf. They have major issues, so I don't understand why you want to bury your head in the sand.

However, UAE, Oman and Qatar are very safe for women Alhamdulilah. I recommend Somalis to move there.

In my opinion, feminism has some good points but it also has ideas that contradict Islam like giving women the right to refuse to obey their husbands if they wish. How is that being a good wife? How can you expect your husband to treat you well if you don't treat him well?

Feminism gives all sorts of arguments to support women not needing men, when in fact both men and women need each other in this difficult world. It puts into women the fear and hatred of men even if the basis of that belief is irrational.
