Feminism is important

:wow:

So man’s natural instinct is to kill, rape and abuse women is what you’re saying here? And women should always be on the run??

No, they need Islamic laws because with it in place you do not need feminism which was created for western women and their society in response to how they were treated, and the western experience and islamic experience are completely different in terms of history. there are some instances where what feminists advocated for where there is no problem with in islam and overlaps with islamic freedoms of women and there are instances where it does not, especially the later parts and what it has morphed to now
So how do you explain the fact that countries following Islamic law have some of the highest rape cases in the world? If your response is it’s because they’re not following Islamic laws properly ...fine! If they failed to properly follow Islam then shouldn’t there be a secondary approach or enforcement in place? Or do we just throw our hands up and say :zhqjlmx:

All feminism is advocating for is the rights and equal treatment of women. If you have problem with that...then it means you have problem with women’s rights.

“I've told you in two different replies that the trends in the statistics ive posted continues for rape cases as well and that you should check it out for yourself, and you instead decided to copy and pasted muslim law on rape now to this specific point”

lol I did but you skipped right over it! I posted a map of the rape scale worldwide and further source to read, but did you bother to read them before coming back with a blanket statement? No! There’s no statistics that shows low murder rate = low rape rate! There’s no statistics that shows countries with sharia law = low rape rates. Once again, murder and rape are two completely different crime categories! Most rapist don’t murder their victim. The frequency rises the more severe the punishment is for the rape; so in places like Somalia or Saudi where rapists are not punished or if punishment not severely enough they’ll tend to rape but not murder their victims.

Your entire argument is baseless, if you want to argue properly I suggest you use sources of the actual topic at hand to make your point! How does one cite murder stats to make a point about rape and sharia law? Is like if I wanted to argue that there are 1 million camels in Somalia but instead post a chart of the number of goats and say see the camels also follow the same pattern, wtf?!

You need people like me
As long as she’s legal, who cares? :childplease: 18 isn’t even that young. We might as well raise the age of consent to 25 by your logic.
18 year olds have just finished sixth form/college . To me there's a huge mental difference between that and a 22 year old who just graduated from uni.

If the nations are not following islamic law the secondary approach is to enforce these islamic laws against such acts, I thought i made it obvious in last last post but i guess i have to reiterate. Now in my original point I've brought up Saudi Arabia and their crime statistics, it was shown that their levels of crime was much lower while not even having perfect sharia, and i'd like to see proof that it is not the case for rape since you keep bringing it up. the post from human rights watchers about a case in SA is not tolerable in islam and should be called out, simple as that.

The map you've presented is flawed, it doesnt show where they got their information from, the data they presented came from another map that had no reference points to work with, seems like presuppositions, nice try though. Researchers such as James Sheptycki found that the rape rate of Saudi Arabia is 0.3 out of 100,000 people and assult 5.6 for every 100,000 person

For muslim women, feminism can mean fighting for your islamic rights and protection. When muslim women talk about feminism, I interpret it this way. There is need for feminism. In Somalia, society is not granting women their Islamic rights. Women will have to fight for their rights and protection. Us men need to act accordingly for Allah and punish those who don’t, according to Allah. Inshallah we will get there.
