FGS doesnt select federal MPs clans/FMSs do. somalia govt is based on 4.5 everything divided based on clan. the jubbaland mps especially one from madobe clan probably gonna side with him and elders from jubbaland. even hamze barre postion he got because hawiyee president so darood get PM. Whats unusual is Hamze sticking by HSM instead of his clan which is unusual in somalia. Most will be loyal to their clan because thats what they got role based on anyways its not really merit

From the documents you shared and other colonial era documents I've noticed the colonists used to divide our people into qabiils, was this division a custom in pre colonial Somalia or was this introduced by the colonialists to have a better control over our people? It's also mind blowing we're still using the exact system as under the colonists of dividing our population into qabiils.. This is in my opinion a very inefficient way of doing things.. All these qabiil representative are useless and waste of resources, it's better to have few politicians who represent the whole community as one unit instead of 1000 different qabiil representatives.
