Read it over again, I earlier already he lost. I am only illustrating that for both parties continuing the conflict will hurt more than it will gain. If Madobe was in a stronger position he would either call for impeachment or secede, both which he can't do. He's indepedent enough to maintain his position, but to depedent on financial or third parties for a long term conflict, right now, to be fruitful.

Same could be said about HSM, Madobe not folding in a week showed his bluff and this circus makes him look like a bigger clown than he already is.

Just imagine HSM saying the election of Deni was false, ferrying some troops into Badhan and wanting then to send his own electors to the state. Either HSM would be gone or secession would be announced.

To illustrate, imagine someone attacks you. You fend off the attacker and break his jaw, but in return, your ribs are bruised. If you were stronger, you would push and make him regret attacking you.
