I agree roads will easily connect the cities and make it more comfortable and safe to travel and make shorter.I disagree. I am certain if Somalia said that a huge priority need for the country is the building of key infrastructure like roads, and outlines the huge benefits that it would bring to the whole population, then I doubt the World Bank would insist otherwise.
Somalia's government is not alone in not understanding that this should be it's priority right now. It is a problem that besets all Somalis. We all want shiny buildings and don't understand the immense value of core infrastructure like roads and bridges.
